Increasingly drivers of local authority vehicles come up against conflict and confrontation. This may be on the doorstep from members of the public, when working at a public park, at landfill sites or in a number of other locations. There can even be conflict in the workplace itself. This module examines how drivers can deal with these issues. It covers how drivers manage themselves as individuals as well as how they manage the situations in which they find themselves.
